![]() As I was writing this I remembered Albino Blacksheep which appears to still exist which brings me to my other point, do all the things we remember from the past still exist to some extent and it's the people who were browsing, viewing or playing this stuff that are now sucked into the hellscape that mega content farming platforms of today are? Probably a bit of both I'd suspect.īut most definitely some of the early gaming too, whether it was or for me, I remember a lot of those flash games and its interesting to me because the type of play of those games are almost like perfect fits for mobile games, and certain some have become mobile games of sorts but some haven't which I also find interesting. before there was algorithms and people begging for likes and subscriptions and what not, what was behind the interest or motivation for people to do those things? Is that same thing out there still now, or not because those people are giving up money if they do shit like that rather than grinding on the big content creator platforms? I guess before there was sort of content creator platforms too, Newgrounds being a big one, shit I don't even remember the names of the other ones. Makes me wonder, where does it all go? Is it still there, but harder to find? Is it dried up completely? By that I mean, the people who were making weird, funny or unique content way back in the day before there was Youtube and Twitch etc. ![]() Much like earlier web days in general, not just gaming.
